Boundless Junior Agility Co.

What is BJAC?

Boundless Junior Agility Co. (BJAC) is a nonprofit organization that is devoted to positively influencing junior agility competitors on and off the course. We aim to do this primarily by fostering good sportsmanship, community, and skill in North American agility junior handlers. We also focus on making the sport accessible, both financially and practically, so that more junior handlers participate and remain in the sport.

BJAC currently holds two camps throughout the year, one on each coast of the continental US: BJAC West and BJAC East. BJAC also offers multiple year-round initiatives, such as the Boundless Education Grant, which junior handlers can use for extra financial support on their training or competition expenses. Additionally, BJAC has created multiple recognition programs, such as BJAC’s 5 under 20 and the Boundless Ambassador Program, which serve to acknowledge and reward junior handlers for their sportsmanship, accomplishments, and character.

We currently are working on multiple initiatives that will address specific issues in junior agility, including:

  • Quality of coaching for junior handlers

  • Lack of opportunities for high-level junior competition

  • Financial/logistical availability of foundations training for aspiring agility junior handlers.

We are excited to be bringing these programs to you so that we can increase opportunities for junior handlers in North America.

“These kids love their sport but rarely get to share their passion with same-age peers. Watching my daughter relate to her new friends on dog agility topics from technical handling to dog lines was priceless.”

"It is wonderful for the juniors to train with other juniors. I know many of them have never met other kids that also enjoy agility with their dogs. I saw many sweet friendships made, and so much support for each other. " -BJAC East Parent
