Boundless Education Grant

BJAC’s believes that one’s financial situation should not be an obstacle to improving handling skills and making community. The Boundless Education Grant provides junior handlers with financial support for educational opportunities outside of camp, and it is intended for agility handlers 20 years of age and younger. Uses may include competition entry fees, online classes, seminars, and equipment, BJAC offers three grant funds year-round to support our junior handlers in all aspects of agility training. This grant has been made possible thanks to the support from generous donors.

Guidelines: 

  • Must be 20 years of age or under.

  • Must reside in the US or Canada.

  • Must train or compete in dog agility. 

  • Funds will be put towards dog training or competing, such as: 

    • Training books, classes, seminars. 

    • Agility competition entry fees (agility cups, classics, nationals, tryouts, local trials, etc.).

    • Training equipment. 

    • Funds allocated cannot be used for any BJAC camp.

  • If funds are being put towards a date sensitive class, trial, etc. The event must take place between May and end of September. 

  • BJAC scholarship applicants are welcome to apply for the Boundless Education Grant. 


When applying for the Boundless Education Grant, you must be specific about the item(s) that you are asking us to fund and list their approximate pricing. Applications that are vague regarding grant money usage will be automatically removed from consideration.

Note that you may not be awarded the full amount of money that you applied for. Likewise, if you apply for multiple items, you may not be granted the money to cover all of them. 

Lastly, the application will ask for your agility experience. This will be taken into consideration, but there is no minimum experience required to apply. Due to the prestige associated with this grant, we recommend that applicants submit their best, most thoughtful work. We will take into account your age and writing level when reading your application.
